Bales College is a founder member of the Council for Independent Further Education (CIFE), and is recognised as Efficient by the British Accreditation Council (BAC). These relate to the Sixth Form. Both of these bodies regularly inspect our teaching, staff and premises, and audit examination results.

 

For Bales Independent School, the Department for Children, Schools and Families is the relevant governing body. We registered as a full school in 1989, and as such we are regularly inspected by Ofsted, the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills, to examine provision of education for pupils under 16.

 

Inspection of boarding facilities is controlled by Ofsted.
